Why a wedding band blog?

We’ve begun this wedding band blog for several reasons. First and foremost … we’re of course a London wedding band!

Secondly, we’ve just given the Azure band website a new coat of paint so it seems the perfect time for us to create a space to tell you all about what we’re up to and what we’re planning.

Thirdly, we have a lot to tell you. Over the years we’ve performed for 10,000s of wedding guests and hundreds of lovely clients. Every time we perform, there’s always fun, happiness and some very nice memories to bring home. This is where we’ll be sharing some of these things with you.

What’s life like as a wedding band?

Many clients and guests take an interest in us and ask what it’s like being a professional wedding band. The answer is, in this wedding band at least, it’s very fulfilling.

Throughout the year at weddings and events we meet many lovely people. We get to perform a very wide range of the best music, and we get to play a part in somebody’s special day. It’s really a dream career in many ways.

Great times as a wedding band

Anyone that’s ever seen an Azure performance knows that our band performances are always a lot of fun. Apart from being professional musicians, we’re also all great friends. There’s always plenty of laughter, some fun stories to share, and occasional silliness 🙂

Advice on having a band at your wedding

Of course you should hire Azure! But even if you don’t, we may have some helpful advice for you. We’ve gained an enormous amount of experience since we launched back in 2007. Since then we’ve picked up countless pearls of wisdom when it comes to making a success of your evening wedding reception. We’ll be passing on some of our thoughts and advice right here in our wedding band blog in upcoming posts.

Our ever-changing wedding band repertoire

To stay in the top flight of wedding bands, the Azure repertoire is always evolving. We learn and try out new tunes all the time so we’ll keep you updated on what we’re up to and how they go.

Band performances at beautiful wedding venues

If you’ve looked down our testimonials you’ll see that we’ve been fortunate to perform at some of the most beautiful historic wedding venues in the country. We often have gorgeous pictures to share so it’s high time we did so.

Public performances

Yes we do occasionally do public performances. They don’t happen very often but when they do, we’ll be making these announcements right here in our wedding band blog. Naturally we’d love to see you there.

News about the band

We’re always looking to continue being the best wedding band we possibly can. This sometimes means changes to the band format, changes to the way that we approach certain songs, and introducing new services to our wedding band bookings.
